I know it’s something many of us do for our jobs.

But, I’m talking about as a side hustle. And not just any writing.

Copywriting.

So, what are some tips if know nothing about copywriting? Well, you should definitely check out Kieran’s thread above.

But, I also spoke with someone whose been in copywriting for a while - and here’s what he shared with me:

Describe the person you’re trying to sell to. What’s their situation? Address where they are now.
Describe their ideal situation. Get to them wonder it would be like to go from X to Y or even Z.
Agitate them and tell them what’s in the way of getting to Y or Z. What are the blocks? Get them to hyperfocus on this goal.
Then, tell them the solution you have found to get them there. Show them how you have the thing they need.

It’s straightforward. Identify a problem. Agitate the problem. Show them how you can solve the problem.

Not always easy to implement though. It takes practice.
