Brand builder stories 🚀
That’s something companies large and small often miss.
Which is a shame — because it’s an opportunity to connect with your core customer.
One creator who gets it:
Here’s a few facts on Jade:
✅ #2 ranked female creator worldwide.
✅ Marketing Leader at Google.
✅ Writes “The Quiet Rich” newsletter for over 122,000 subscribers.
What she does is offer content that fits her brand very well.
Brand builder stories tend to focus on three areas:
👉 Personal stories.
👉 Motivational and/or inspirational stories.
👉 Client testimonials and social proof stories.
Jade has this concept down—and it shows in a few Linkedin posts.
➡️ She got personal with her over 150,000 followers when she thanked them for their support. She explained her “why” behind beginning her writing journey and why she consumes so much content herself.
➡️ She inspired her followers with a post covering Brene Brown’s views on marriage. Apparently, a relationship being exactly 50/50 all the time is a myth. I’d imagine that was refreshing for some of her followers to learn.
➡️ She shows social proof in a post discussing how she was featured in a publication discussing the Metaverse.
Be sure to follow Jade and see for yourself!
Craft Your Brand Builder Stories To Attract Your Target Customers
So, how do you create your own brand builder stories?
Consider what we shared in Jade’s story above.
Ask yourself:
💭 What’s a personal story that defines who I am? Can I use this as a foundational story for my company?
💭 What’s something motivational or inspirational can I use? Is there somebody more well-known than me that had a similar experience? Is it relevant to what I’m trying to say?
💭 Do I have any social proof to offer? Maybe a client testimonial? If not, how can I obtain the right kind of social proof?
This doesn’t have to take a lot of time. In fact, I would start with what first comes to mind.
Make a list for each topic—and discover what works best.
Then, test it out on your family, friends, and social media followers.
Ideate. Try. Refresh. Try again.
Don’t stop until you find something that resonates.

Stories for the win.
I have periods where all my emails contain stories. They are fun to write and hopefully just as entertaining to read.
